Year 3 Class Teacher

You will take on full responsibility for a lively Year 3 class, planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum. You will be supported by an experienced phase leader and a strong TA, and will play a full part in the life of the school — including parents' evenings, school trips and end-of-year transition.

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 3 lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Use AfL and ongoing assessment to track and accelerate pupil progress.
• Maintain a calm, positive classroom in line with the school's behaviour policy.
• Work closely with the TA, phase leader and SENCO to support all learners.
• Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to the wider school community.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Previous experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 3 or Year 4.
• Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and a creative teaching style.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
