British curriculum teachers and leaders for schools across Abu Dhabi
The emirate of Abu Dhabi is much bigger than its capital. It takes in Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain inland and the Al Dhafra region to the west, and each feels quite different to live in. We help private schools right across the emirate find UK trained teachers and school leaders who'll be happy there.
Our team leads this work. Private schools here are regulated by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK). We never charge candidates a fee.

British curriculum teachers in the emirate
Schools following the English National Curriculum usually want a PGCE or B.Ed with QTS, or an equivalent, plus experience in UK classrooms. Tell us the year group or subject, and whether you teach IGCSE and A level or another British pathway. Schools take different routes, so we'll ask rather than assume.
Where your school is matters as much as the job. Life in Abu Dhabi city isn't the same as life in Al Ain, an inland oasis city with its own close community. So we talk to candidates honestly about the place as well as the post, and the people you meet already know what they're signing up for.
Teachers can find out what schools usually look for in our Teach in the UAE guide.
Leaders in Abu Dhabi city and Al Ain
Deputy, head of phase, inclusion lead or headteacher, we shape each search around how your school is run. Tell us where the post is. The right leader for a school in the capital might not be the right one for Al Ain, and we want people who'll genuinely enjoy living where you are.
If SEN and inclusion experience matters, we'll make it part of the brief from the first conversation.
What ADEK means for your hire
ADEK regulates private schools across the whole emirate, while KHDA looks after Dubai. Teachers need the right approvals before they start, and those sit between the school, the candidate and ADEK.
We're a recruitment agency, not the regulator, so for anything about ADEK requirements or inspections, the school or ADEK is the best source. What we can do is make sure candidates understand the steps early, so nothing comes as a surprise.
Looking for a senior university appointment? You'll find our university executive search on the UAE recruitment page.
