About the Role
You do not need years in a classroom to start, but you do need some real experience with children or young people. You will support class teachers with groups and individual pupils, help pupils stay focused, and assist with reading, maths and practical tasks. Playground, lunch and transition times are part of the job too. Every school has its own routines, so you will learn quickly and follow their policies. Work is offered day to day in primary and secondary classrooms across Huddersfield, Holmfirth, Honley and Marsden. Your consultant will start you in settings where you can build confidence, then widen things out as you grow.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- Experience with children or young people, in or out of school
- A degree or interest in education is welcome
- Enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to learn
- Open to primary and secondary work
- All roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List check, references and right to work checks.
