Teaching Assistant for Short Notice Morning Calls in Hull
Hull, East Yorkshire
Are you up, dressed and happy to take a call at seven in the morning? Schools across Hull often need a Teaching Assistant the same day, and early risers make all the difference to them.
About the Role
When a TA phones in sick, a school can need cover within the hour. You will arrive, get a quick brief from the class teacher and slot into the day, supporting whole class lessons, small groups or individual pupils. You may also help with break, lunch or playground duties. Most of the work is primary, with some secondary learning support. It covers the whole city, from Bransholme and Sutton on Hull in the north east to Anlaby and Willerby in the west. Work is offered as schools call rather than on a fixed rota, so being reachable early really matters. In return, you keep control of your week and only take the days you want.
