SEN Teaching Assistant in Specialist Schools, Flexible Days in Hull
Hull, East Yorkshire
Would you stay calm if your morning included personal care, a communication aid and a pupil who needs to leave the room? Specialist schools across Hull and nearby towns need SEN Teaching Assistants who take all of that in their stride.
About the Role
Specialist settings often need an extra pair of hands at short notice. You could be supporting pupils with autism, severe or profound learning difficulties, physical needs or SEMH needs, usually in small classes with a strong staff team around you. Tasks range from helping with feeding and mobility to using PECS, Makaton or switches. You will follow each pupil's care and behaviour plans and keep records the way the setting asks. This is day to day work across Hull, Hessle, Cottingham and Beverley. You choose your available days, and we match you to settings that fit your experience, so you are never dropped into something you are not ready for.
