SEN Teaching Assistant in Leeds (Day Supply)

Leeds schools need reliable SEN support every week of term. Our Yorkshire desk places Teaching Assistants who understand EHCPs, calm classrooms and inclusive practice into day to day and short notice cover across the Leeds area.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant on our Leeds books you will support classroom teachers and SENCOs when schools need cover at short notice. Work ranges from mainstream one to one support to resource base and specialist provision. You earn a competitive daily rate, choose flexible days, and deal with a local consultant who knows Leeds schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Leeds pupils with SEND under teacher or SENCO direction
- Put EHCP and IEP strategies into practice in the classroom
- Help with transitions, sensory breaks and positive behaviour approaches
- Keep brief session notes for a clean handover
- Travel between city and outer Leeds sites as bookings require
Requirements
- Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD, SEMH, ADHD or similar)
- Enhanced DBS, ideally on the Update Service
- Able to reach Leeds schools by public transport or car
- Clear spoken English and confident teamwork
- Right to work in the UK
