SEN Teaching Assistant for Primary Resource Bases in Warrington
Warrington, Cheshire
Can you follow a detailed plan and still adapt when a child's day changes direction? Primary resource bases across Warrington need SEN Teaching Assistants who can do both.
About the Role
Resource bases and enhanced provision support pupils with autism, communication needs or learning difficulties, usually in small groups and one to one. You will follow plans set by teachers, SENCOs and therapists, using visual supports and structured teaching approaches. Some pupils join mainstream classes for part of the day, and you may support them there too. Progress is recorded carefully, and your observations help shape what happens next. Bookings are long term, in schools across Great Sankey, Penketh, Woolston and Padgate. Patience and consistency matter more than anything, and experience with primary aged children with SEND is essential.
