SEN Teaching Assistant for Infant Classes, Flexible Days on the Wirral
Wirral, Merseyside
Could you read a busy infant classroom quickly and help the children who need it most feel settled? Primary schools across the Wirral need SEN Teaching Assistants for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
About the Role
Infant classes often include children whose needs are still being assessed. You will support children with a range of additional needs, from emerging speech delay to more complex SEND, keeping them safe, settled and included. Visual timetables and simple signing help with understanding, and you will guide children through transitions and changes in routine. Personal care may be needed for some children. At the end of the day, you pass clear notes to the class teacher. Bookings range from single days to short runs, as schools request them, in Birkenhead, Bebington, Moreton and Upton. You choose the days that suit your week.
