SEN Teacher in Wirral (Long-term Supply)

Wirral specialist and resourced provisions need SEN Teachers who can adapt learning and lead a small classroom team. We fill long-term supply posts so pupils and support staff keep continuity.
About the Role
As an SEN Teacher on long-term supply you will plan adapted learning, oversee classroom support staff, and work with SENCOs, therapists and families. Settings include specialist and resourced provision linked to West Kirby, Bebington and Moreton, with rates reflecting the expertise required.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver adapted lessons for pupils with SEND
- Lead TAs and support staff within the classroom or base
- Contribute to EHCP reviews, IEPs and multi agency meetings
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and wellbeing
- Follow specialist safeguarding and care plans closely
Requirements
- QTS with substantial SEN teaching experience
- Confidence with ASD, SEMH, cognition and learning or similar profiles
- Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List check
- Willingness to take a long-term placement in Wirral
- Right to work in the UK
