SEN Teacher in Chester (Long-term Supply)

About the Role
As an SEN Teacher on long-term supply you will plan adapted learning, oversee classroom support staff, and work with SENCOs, therapists and families. Settings include specialist and resourced provision linked to Hoole, Upton and Vicars Cross, with rates reflecting the expertise required.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver adapted lessons for pupils with SEND
- Lead TAs and support staff within the classroom or base
- Contribute to EHCP reviews, IEPs and multi agency meetings
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and wellbeing
- Follow specialist safeguarding and care plans closely
Requirements
- QTS with substantial SEN teaching experience
- Confidence with ASD, SEMH, cognition and learning or similar profiles
- Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List check
- Willingness to take a long-term placement in Chester
- Right to work in the UK
