Primary Teaching Assistant for Chester and Surrounding Villages
Chester, Cheshire
Have you ever worked in a small village primary where one absence is felt by everyone? Schools in Chester and the towns and villages around it need dependable supply Teaching Assistants.
About the Role
Village primaries often have small staff teams and mixed age classes, so a missing TA leaves a real gap. You will support teachers with lessons and small groups, help with reading and maths practice and lend a hand at playtime and lunchtime. Mixed age classes need a flexible approach, as one table may be working on something quite different from the next. At the end of the day, you leave clear notes for the class teacher. Work is offered as schools request it, in Chester and around Tarvin, Frodsham, Saltney and Neston. Your own transport is a real help for reaching the smaller schools.
