About the Role
Supply work suits people who need flexibility. You tell us which days you can do, and you only take the bookings that suit you. In school, you will support pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2, run short reading or maths groups set by the teacher and help keep the classroom organised. Playtime and lunchtime support is often part of the day too. Work is offered day to day as schools request it, in areas such as King Cross, Illingworth, Ovenden and Northowram. It is a good fit for parents, students or anyone easing back into work. Paid or voluntary classroom experience both count, so tell us about everything you have done.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in class across KS1 and KS2
- Run short reading or maths groups set by the teacher
- Keep the classroom organised and resources ready
- Help at playtime and lunchtime
- Pass helpful notes to the class teacher
Requirements
- Primary classroom experience, paid or voluntary
- Reliable, friendly and good with children
- Willing to adapt to different schools
- Happy to work within school hours
- All roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List check, references and right to work checks.
