Long Term Cover Supervisor in Hull Secondary Schools
Hull, East Yorkshire
Would you rather be the familiar face a class expects than a different supply cover each day? Many secondary schools in Hull and the East Riding prefer a Cover Supervisor who stays for the long term.
About the Role
Classes behave differently when they know who is coming through the door. On a long term booking you will often work to a regular timetable, covering lessons set by teaching staff across Key Stages 3 and 4. Over time you build working relationships with the same groups, learn the school's systems inside out and become part of its day to day routine. You will collect and return work to departments and help with duties at break, lunch and the end of the day. Work covers the city centre, Newland, Orchard Park and Holderness Road, as well as nearby East Riding towns. You need confidence with teenagers and the commitment to see a booking through.
