About the Role
Some TAs love variety. Others want to know the children by name, share in their progress and be part of one class team. Long term bookings give you that. Schools ask for this kind of support to cover TA absence, maternity leave or extra need in a class. You will support the class teacher across the curriculum, work with groups and individuals who need extra help, and keep resources ready. Reading, writing and maths support will be part of every day. Work covers West Kirby, Hoylake and Greasby across to Bromborough and Eastham. Reliability matters most, because the class will be counting on you.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher across all subjects
- Work with groups and pupils who need extra help
- Prepare resources and keep the classroom organised
- Support reading, writing and maths daily
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Requirements
- Teaching Assistant experience in a primary school
- Able to commit to a long term booking
- A positive, reliable and proactive approach
- Comfortable across KS2
- All roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List check, references and right to work checks.
