KS3 Cover Supervisor, Flexible Days in Leeds
Leeds, West Yorkshire
Can you have a Year 8 class working before anyone notices the teacher is away? Secondary schools across Leeds need Cover Supervisors who arrive early, read the seating plan and take charge calmly.
About the Role
Key Stage 3 lessons can turn on the first five minutes. You will meet the class at the door, take the register and get the set work started straight away. Through the lesson you will keep the room focused, help pupils who are stuck without teaching new content, and deal with low level disruption using the school's own system. At the end you collect the work and leave a short note for the department. This is day to day supply, often confirmed the evening before or early on the day, in areas such as Beeston, Armley, Seacroft and Crossgates. It suits people who enjoy variety and want to keep their diary flexible. Your consultant will always tell you what the day involves before you accept.
