Key Stage 1 Teacher in Liverpool (Long-term Supply)

KS1 is where phonics, early reading and classroom habits take root. Liverpool schools ask us for teachers who can hold a Year 1 or Year 2 class with warmth and structure for several weeks or a full term, not just a day of cover.
About the Role
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher on long-term supply you will teach the full KS1 curriculum, lead phonics, and create a safe, lively classroom. You will work with teaching assistants and the KS1 lead, and become a known face for parents at pick up in Belle Vale, Broadgreen or Clubmoor schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach daily phonics, English and maths to Year 1 or Year 2
- Plan engaging foundation lessons that suit early primary learners
- Manage behaviour with clear routines suited to younger pupils
- Assess reading, writing and maths and share outcomes with leaders
- Partner with TAs and parents to support every child
Requirements
- QTS with solid Key Stage 1 or early primary experience
- Confident phonics teaching (Letters and Sounds style or equivalent)
- Enhanced DBS, Update Service preferred
- Ready for a sustained booking in east and south Liverpool
- Right to work in the UK
What We Offer
- £150 to £185 per day based on experience and setting
