HLTA for Nurture and Intervention Groups in Liverpool
Liverpool, Merseyside
Can you run a nurture group that feels warm and well organised at the same time? Primary schools across Liverpool and the wider Merseyside area want HLTAs who can do that alongside academic interventions.
About the Role
Nurture groups work when the adult running them is consistent, kind and on top of the detail. You will plan and run daily nurture sessions, deliver targeted reading, phonics or maths interventions and cover classes during PPA when needed. Working with the SENCO, you will help support pupils' wellbeing and keep families in the loop where the school asks you to. Measuring progress matters, so you will record outcomes and report them to school leaders. Bookings are long term, in areas from Toxteth and Aigburth to West Derby and Old Swan. Experience with SEMH interventions will help you make a strong start.
