HLTA for KS2 Maths Groups and PPA Cover in Chester
Chester, Cheshire
Can you make fractions click for a Year 5 pupil who has decided they hate maths? Primary schools across Chester and out towards Ellesmere Port want HLTAs who teach small groups clearly and cover classes well.
About the Role
How pupils feel about maths in Key Stage 2 can shape their confidence for years. You will teach planned maths sessions to small groups, using concrete and visual resources to build real understanding. When teachers take PPA or are absent, you will cover whole classes from their plans. Pupils with SEND may need extra support in maths lessons, and you will assess progress and share it with class teachers.
