Long-term Supply

Design Technology Teacher, Liverpool

Liverpool, Merseyside

Do you love the moment a pupil's sketch turns into something they can actually hold? GAC Education is recruiting Design Technology Teachers for secondary schools across Liverpool and the wider Merseyside area, with long term and day to day supply available.

About the Role

You will plan and teach Design and Technology lessons at KS3 and KS4, and post 16 where you have the experience. Depending on the school and your specialism, that could include product design, resistant materials, textiles or electronics. Workshop safety is a big part of the job, so you will set clear routines for using tools and machinery and make sure pupils stick to them. You will guide pupils through the design process, from research and early ideas to making and evaluating, and support GCSE coursework where it applies. Long term bookings might cover a full timetable or a planned absence, while day to day supply suits teachers who want more flexibility. Your consultant will share the key stages, timetable and specialist areas of each role before you commit. Email your CV to office@gac.education with "Design Technology Teacher, Liverpool" in the subject line, or call our Merseyside and Cheshire desk on 0151 404 9965 for an informal chat first.
