About the Role
Cover work suits people who enjoy a change of scene and can settle a class quickly. You will deliver work teachers have set, use seating plans and behaviour systems consistently and encourage pupils to work independently. When the lesson ends, you return completed work with a short summary. A break or lunch duty might be added too. Schools call when they need someone, often at short notice, in Birkenhead, Upton, Bebington, Heswall and beyond. You choose the days you are free, and your consultant gets to know which schools and year groups you prefer. Flexible transport across the peninsula helps a lot.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver set work across subjects and year groups

Requirements
- Experience as a Cover Supervisor, TA or with young people
- A confident, steady manner with teenagers
- Transport across the Wirral
- Available at short notice
- All roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List check, references and right to work checks.
