Cover Supervisor in Liverpool (Long-term Supply)

Secondary schools across Liverpool need Cover Supervisors who can walk into a room, set expectations quickly and deliver the work left by the teacher. We recruit for sustained placements, not just one off days, so staff and pupils see a familiar face.
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor on long-term supply you will supervise classes across the timetable, keep behaviour fair and consistent, and ensure set work is completed. You are not expected to plan lessons, but you do need presence, judgement and the confidence to manage a full secondary classroom in Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise lessons using teacher set work across KS3 and KS4
- Uphold the school's behaviour policy with calm consistency
- Register classes, settle pupils and protect learning time
- Collect completed work and report issues to the cover lead
- Build professional relationships with pastoral and curriculum teams
Requirements
- Experience supervising or supporting secondary classrooms
- Confident behaviour management with teenagers
- Enhanced DBS, Update Service preferred
- Happy to work a longer booking in Aigburth, Croxteth or Everton
- Right to work in the UK
