Behaviour Support Worker for Pupil Referral and AP Settings in Warrington
Warrington, Cheshire
Do you believe every young person deserves another go at education, and can you be firm, fair and honest while they take it? If so, alternative provision settings serving young people from Warrington want to hear from you.
About the Role
Alternative provision gives young people who have disengaged from school a different route back into learning. You will support them in small groups and one to one, building relationships that some of them have not had with adults in school for a long time. When conflict flares, you will use calm, restorative approaches, and you will stick closely to each young person's risk assessment and plan. Clear records of incidents and progress help the whole team. Bookings are long term, in settings serving Orford, Longford, Bewsey and Latchford. Experience from SEMH schools, youth work or alternative provision is ideal, and clear boundaries are a must.
